1980s: Gave numerous Kathak performances as a child artist as part of Maharaj Ghulam Husain's dance troupe. Prestigious venues included the Goethe Institut, a children's festival at the Hilton Hotel, and the Arts Council of Lahore. These photos and video are from a performance Shayma gave in 1981 at a family wedding when she was around 10 years old.
